My client is a reputable civil engineering contractor working within a variety of sectors, including highways. They are seeking a highly organized and proactive Construction Administrator to join their team in South-East London. This is a good opportunity for someone early in their career, either a recent graduate or with 1-2 years of experience, who is looking to gain hands-on experience in construction project management and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform material take-offs and manage material ordering for various projects.
2. Assist with the preparation of method statements, as-built surveys, and job resourcing.
3. Provide technical administrative support to the project team, ensuring smooth workflow and effective communication.
4. Work on a range of projects varying in size.
5. Collaborate with various teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Candidate Requirements:
1. A recent graduate or 1-2 years of relevant experience, ideally with some exposure to construction or related industries.
2. Strong understanding of construction processes, even if gained in a different sector.
3. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
4. Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
5. Enthusiastic and eager to learn, with a flexible approach to responsibilities.
6. Able to commute to South-East London location.
