Enpure Ltd is a progressive organisation in water and wastewater services and is looking to recruit a self-motivated and engaging Mechanical Engineer with strong analytical skills and experience in technical design, delivery, and management of water and wastewater engineering projects.
Your New Role:
Lead and/or contribute on feasibility, outline, and detailed design projects.
You will be responsible for the design of mechanical installations, typically including municipal water and wastewater treatment works, pumping stations, ventilation systems, penstocks and valves, odour control systems, chemical dosing systems, pipework, etc.
Other duties to include:
* Interface with clients and collaborators in design and planning.
* Conduct site visits to complete site surveys and support liaisons with clients, government authorities, contractors, and suppliers.
* Integrate with other disciplines within the business and externally to agree and confirm a desired design.
* Support bidding and be proactive in the winning of work.
* Deliver projects to an agreed budget, programme, and quality.
* Take ownership of specific skill areas or activities within our technical knowledge networks.
* Support and mentor team members, providing technical input as a technical advisor.
* Seek innovation and trial new methods, being inquisitive by nature.
* Provide input to the development of engineering specifications and procedures to meet requirements.
* Present project work at company meetings or conferences.
* Work with and develop our digital tools and products.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree-qualified with a mechanical engineering bias.
Desirable:
* Water and wastewater treatment project experience across feasibility, outline, detailed design, and construction support is extremely desirable.
* Experience using a 3D design tool and other proprietary software products.
* Chartered member of a recognised engineering institution.
