Berry Recruitment is excited to be partnering with a dynamic and rapidly growing company in Warwick to find a skilled Aviation Technician with specialised knowledge of the APU131-9. This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking team and play a key role in the company's continued growth.\n\n Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00 (40 hours per week)\n Annual Leave: 22 days + bank holidays\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nWork effectively as part of a team and demonstrate self-motivation.\n\nMaintain a strong focus on attention to detail and quality.\n\nPossess good hand skills and familiarity with tooling.\n\nRead and interpret technical manuals and instructions with ease.\n\nUnderstand the proper use of tools and follow safety protocols.\n\nExhibit responsibility and conscientiousness in all tasks.\n\nShow eagerness to progress, with a positive, "can-do" attitude.\n\nAsk for clarification when instructions are unclear or need repetition.\n\nBe willing to perform repetitive tasks as part of the training program.\n\nPass the N9 eye test standard (with or without prescription eyewear).\n\nMaintain physical fitness to stand for extended periods during shifts.\n\nTo strip,overhaul and repair an apu131-9.\n\nRequirements:\n\nRecognised engineering apprenticeship qualification.\n\nAbility to adhere to Health and Safety regulations and requirements.\n\nProficient in basic computer skills.\n\nExperience within the aviation or motor industry is essential.\n\nPrevious experience with gas turbine engine repair in a shop environment.\n\nWillingness to travel away from the base location when required.\n\nMust have experience with APU131-9 engine.\n\nThe Package:\n\n22 days annual leave + public holidays.\n\nMonday to Friday work schedule.\n\nCompetitive salary, based on relevant experience.\n\nOpportunities for training and career development.\n\nRelocation package Please contact Summer Fleming or click apply to show your interest.\n\nPlease note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a person's gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation.
