About the Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an analytical individual to join our Insurance Broker Accounts (IBA) team – who work closely with Lockton’s clients and insurance underwriters to carry out the reconciliation and management of client money.

Your Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role
* Work with the IBA Managers and Senior Managers to support the interface between IBA carrier teams and a portfolio of client facing broking businesses and insurers.
* Ensuring insurers receive optimal levels of service.
* Act as point of insurer technical escalation within the IBA carrier teams and wider IBA function, constantly work to improve and strengthen relationships and review processes to mutual benefit including instigating key insurer partnership meetings.
* Develop, and monitor KPI’s/SLA’s as agreed by the business and provide support to the team to meet these performance requirements.
* Producing regular reports to management on key targets, projects, and insurer issues.
* Escalating issues from IBA that belong in the business units or in technical teams to ensure prompt resolution.
* Coordinate credit control requests from insurers and providing responses on settlement.
* Coordinate and support IBA carrier teams and managers with premium query resolution, business and insurer performance review meetings, and tracking actions to timely resolution.
* Support IBA carrier managers with provision of escalated issues, training gap analysis, and constructive carrier meeting feedback to complete regular monthly 1:1’s with their team members and annual appraisal.
Qualifications
Candidate requirements:
* Finance or IBA background.
* Good understanding of and experience of insurance broking accounts.
* A working knowledge of the computer desktop software provided by Lockton including Microsoft Office suite, Excel, Brokersure BE/EA, Power BI, Sector and A4B.
* Works well as part of a team.
* Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing to maintain positive and successful business relationships with Lockton colleagues, our clients, insurers, and other third-party providers representing Lockton in the highest professional manner.
* Good numerical ability and an analytical mindset.
* Ability to compile, analyse and interpret financial information and data to facilitate decision making, with excellent attention to detail.
* A good understanding of the general and legal principles applicable to insurance in particular FSA client money rules.
