Queen Elizabeth High School seeks to appoint an inspirational teacher of art, who is passionate about their subject and teaching students. The job will suit someone with knowledge and experience of teaching graphics. The art department at QE has an outstanding reputation with a significant proportion of students continuing their art studies after school. The work produced by the students is of a consistently high standard and the successful candidate will join an experienced team who through positive relationships and relentless determination help students achieve excellent outcomes at both GCSE and A Level. The department teaches GCSE art and design at key stage 4 as well as GCSE graphics. In sixth form students can study fine art, graphics or photography. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach A Level Graphics. Art is popular at the school with high levels of engagement in art clubs at lunchtime and after school.
