Job Title: Citywide Services Nursery Cook Winton Children s Centre Working hours: You will be contracted 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am 2.30pm. Grade: 2C Contract Type: Permanent, All Year Round. Location: Based at Winton Children s Centre, Brindley Street, Salford, M30 8AB. What will you do as an Nursery Cook? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our team as Nursery Cook at Winton Children s Centre. This is a varied and challenging role, where no two days are the same. As Nursery Cook you will be responsible for the cooking and organisation of the catering service within the nursery to a high standard of food presentation and hygiene. Providing healthy meals which meets the Governments nutrient based standards, as well as ensuring medical diets are catered for. To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience in the catering industry, possession of a City & Guilds 706 or NVQ2 together with a current basic hygiene certificate. About Citywide Services: Citywide Services is part of Salford City Council s Place Directorate. We have been providing Catering Services in nurseries and schools across Greater Manchester since 1990.
