Monday-Friday and NO Weekends (unless overtime is available) In your new role as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be joining a strong, established team of Maintenance engineers, and will Support the day-to-day manufacturing process in the most efficient manner, whilst working within a team structure What are we looking for: Time served Mechanical Engineer Maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment City & Guilds qualification, Minimum level 2 or equivalent Excellent fitting skills, welding and fabrication skills Experience of planned maintenance Hydraulic and pneumatic fault finding Well organised, self-motivated and capable of working to tight deadlines Good attention to detail Proactive approach to problem solving Your Duties as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer : Performing reactive maintenance on a variety of mechanical machinery across the site Effective recording and monitoring of all engineering/production-based issues Troubleshooting problems and suggesting improvements to prevent reoccurrence Communicating with Production Managers / Team Leaders on progress of issues Completing scheduled maintenance Investigating faults with plant and equipment, completing any necessary repairs, and reporting status within the maintenance recording system.
