Job Title: IT Change Analyst
Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000
What you'll be doing:
1. Delivering the IT Change Management role, working with a team of internal and supplier experts to deliver change management functions for the BAE SIAM organisation
2. The team uses ServiceNow and the CAB workbench module to manage all changes and a number of ServiceNow dashboards to manage the change process
3. Ensuring the Change Management function is delivered to tight timescales and to quality standards
4. Chairing the Change Approval Board twice weekly
5. Working with Change Approvers to ensure their verdicts are captured accurately and on time to allow decisions on all changes
6. Delivering monthly reporting
7. Setting up meetings and reporting on the results of failed changes so that lessons can be learned to improve the process and quality in the future
8. Setting up and administering templates for the Standard Change process
9. Assisting in the development of new or improved practises and organisational processes or standards and facilitating localised improvements to the services
Your skills and experiences:
10. Skilled in using ServiceNow and ServiceNow reporting functions, familiarity with the Change module
11. Experience in developing effective working relationships with technical experts and suppliers
12. Knowledge of working within a SIAM operating model would be beneficial
13. Attention to detail and ability to work in a busy environment
14. Knowledge of BAE systems or other defence organisation would be beneficial
