Description The Anglian Water Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) project currently involves the planning, design and construction of circa 320km of new strategic, large diameter, clean water interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure across Anglian Water’s region. The SPA Alliance is also taking on responsibility for the future interconnector pipelines, a further 260km of strategic interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure. LI-KP1 Responsibilities To work within the site team, supporting the Construction Manager and working alongside Engineers and Framework Contractors to successfully deliver and coordinate non-infra works within budget and programme whilst promoting a positive behavioural safety culture. To support the overall SPA programme objectives and deliverables. Delivery of site inductions, daily site briefings and safety briefings to framework contractor site personnel covering appropriate health, safety and environmental topics and ensure records of briefings are maintained Ensure that all works are properly planned and carried out in safe and controlled manner and in a cost-efficient manner Coordinate vehicle and plant movements on site ensuring pedestrian segregation Promote a healthy safety culture on site, challenging behaviours and promoting good practice Coordinate deliveries of materials to site and maintain site security Support Construction Manager and Engineers in the planning of upcoming works, ensuring adequate labour, plant and materials are available to deliver the works in line with the programme Coordination of framework contractors’ construction activities on site ensuring interfaces are adequately managed Review productivity on site and support Construction manager and Planner with programme Maintain adequate site records inclusive of daily diaries, quantities of works completed and photographic evidence Support Site Engineers with completion of Inspection and Test Records Qualifications Construction industry experience Previous water industry experience Experience of working on large complex sites Experience of supervising sub-contractors Understanding of engineering principles and construction techniques Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Supervisors Card EUSR National Water Hygiene Standards ‘Blue Card’ First Aid at Work New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) Supervisors Lifting and Temporary Works Supervisor experience
