As an IT Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to the IT department and assist students in gaining a deeper understanding of technology and computer systems. This is a temporary role, offering an hourly rate from £12.
* Supporting the IT department in managing computer systems and networks.
* Assisting with the maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
* Providing technical support to students and helping them with IT-related issues.
* Assisting in the development of IT lesson plans and materials.
* Conducting workshops and training sessions to enhance students' technical skills.
* Evaluating and grading student assignments and projects.
* Collaborating with the IT team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Enhanced DBS clearance to work with students.
* Proficiency in computer systems, software applications, and troubleshooting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students and colleagues.
* A passion for technology and a desire to inspire students' interest in IT.
* Previous experience working in an educational setting (desired but not essential).
