Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward-thinking, passionate, and motivated AHP (any role with professional registration - e.g., OT, Social Worker, CBT therapist, Counsellor, etc.) to join our CAMHS Crisis Intervention Home Treatment Team. As an AHP Band 6 for CAMHS Crisis & HTT in Halesowen/Dudley, you will work closely with the team lead to coordinate the shift and ensure safe and effective working across the team. The team works 7 days a week from 08:00 to 20:00 hours; therefore, shifts are part of the working practice, and the team may also need to respond to the 136 suite as required.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Direct and oversee the day-to-day delivery of clinical services provided by the Crisis Intervention/Home Treatment team (CIHTT), which is inclusive of the Paediatric Liaison Service and management of the CAMHS 136 Suite.
2. Ensure that the Service Manager/Clinical Lead is fully cognizant of significant day-to-day issues through effective and proactive agreed communication.
3. Contribute to the clinical management of a team caseload of clients with complex needs, using evidence-based/client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions, which will be delivered mainly in the home or community setting.
4. Support care coordination within the team and attend relevant team meetings on behalf of the CIHTT, ensuring that issues/discussions are fed back to the wider team.
Essential Criteria
* NMC Registration OR other relevant professional registration body (HCPC etc.)
* Proven post-qualification experience
* Experience of working with children and young people with mental health problems.
* Post Basic Courses / Study Days
Desirable Criteria
* CAMHS experience
* Acute care experience.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Ability to travel across sites
