We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Pupil Support Worker to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who need additional support in their learning and development. Role Overview: As a Pupil Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing one-to-one or small group support to students, helping them to access the curriculum, develop their social and emotional skills, and reach their full potential. You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to implement tailored interventions and support plans that meet each childs individual needs. Key Responsibilities: Support children in both classroom and outdoor settings, promoting active participation and engagement. Assist with the delivery of personalised learning plans and interventions. Encourage positive behaviour and help students develop key social skills. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Help with personal care and mobility needs where required. Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for all children. Build strong relationships with students, their families, and the wider school community. What We Are Looking For: Experience of working with children, particularly those with additional learning or emotional needs (although not essential, this is preferred). A passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their lives. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team. Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude towards supporting children. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
