An exciting opportunity has arisen at Vospers for a Sales Controller. This is a great opportunity for an existing Senior Sales Executive or Sales Controller to join an exciting brand at Marsh Mills, Plymouth. As Sales Controller you will work closely with the Sales Manager, assisting with developing a highly professional, motivated and efficient sales team. In this role you will strive to exceed sales objectives whilst formulating policies and procedures to achieve maximum profitability from vehicle, finance, insurance and accessory sales.
Responsibilities
* Ensure a robust sales process is implemented and followed by the sales team.
* Manage all prospecting activity by the Sales team ensuring effectiveness and consistency.
* Be a point of contact for the manufacturer in the absence of the Sales Manager.
* Ensure that all dealer standards are met with accuracy and kept at the highest level.
* Identify the needs of the customer through a range of differing sales techniques.
* Match relevant products to customers and present applicable features and benefits of each product.
* Organise and carry out professional and proficient demonstrations or test drives.
* Establish a rapport with the customer and build a level of customer commitment.
* Establish current vehicle ownership status and their requirements of the finance solution.
* Match products relevant to the customers needs and present applicable features and benefits of each product.
What we're looking for
* Experience and knowledge of vehicle sales, vehicle financing and leasing.
* Experience working as part of a team in a target driven environment, supporting both shared and personal objectives.
* Ability to focus both on customer and business requirements.
* Good listener with the ability to advise and support our teams across the business.
* Able to react positively to organisational and market changes.
* Good analytical, problem solving and planning skills.
* Able to plan, organise self and meet agreed work deadlines.
