We are looking for a part time Head Housekeeper (hours to be discussed at interview).
Main Duties:
* Manage the domestic / housekeeping staff team
* Supervise the domestic / housekeeping staff team
* Order chemicals and janitorial items, to ensure that we have sufficient stock available at all times
* Ensure rotas are created so that we have sufficient staff on shift at all times, with a good skill mix
* Ensure that all cleaning and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to
* Being part of the Quality Assurance process and completing audits where needed
* To provide a high standard of cleaning and laundry services within the home
* To maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment for the residents
* To clean bathrooms and toilets using appropriate cleaning materials and equipment
* To have awareness of cleaning chemicals and how they should be appropriately stored
* To display relevant hazard notices during cleaning and post cleaning
* To have an awareness of infection control
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience in supervisory role: 3 years (required)
* Experience in cleaning: 4 years (preferred)
* Experience in head housekeeping: 3 years (required)
Additional Requirements:
* YOU MUST HAVE HAD BOTH COVID VACCINATIONS AND SHOW PROOF OF DATES/VACCINES
* Driving Licence (preferred)
