Exciting opportunity to join a Global Invoice Finance provider that offers flexible working capital solutions as their Head of the UK, Invoice Finance. This is a home-based position, ideally located in London or the Central Corridor.
Our client is a leading provider of working capital solutions, assisting SMEs and mid-sized corporates in managing their cash flow and liquidity needs. With a strong presence in Europe and North America, the company is dedicated to supporting businesses through innovative financial products and exceptional client service.
Key metrics for the role include:
1. Managing a core UK portfolio of €40m (monthly funding of €20m).
2. Providing invoice funding lines from £200k up to £5m, with the potential to go up to £10m for the right clients.
3. Funding single invoice, single debtor, and multiple invoice/debtor transactions, including domestic and international transactions.
4. Ability to fund in Euro, GBP, and USD.
5. Managing a growing client base of 100 Active UK clients.
6. Responsibility for both sales and relationship managers in the team.
7. Leading a staff of 5 with plans to grow the team.
8. Access to in-house marketing and IT teams.
Leadership and Strategy:
* Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and market penetration in the UK.
* Lead and manage the UK team (two Business Development and two to three Client Relationship Managers, with growth plans to 10).
* Collaborate with senior management to align UK operations with global objectives.
Client Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners, including brokers, debt advisors, and potential partner banks.
* Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
* Oversee the delivery of tailored financial solutions to meet clients' working capital needs.
Financial Expertise:
* Utilise in-depth knowledge of financial products and services, particularly in trade and receivables finance.
* Provide expert advice to clients on managing liquidity and optimising cash flow.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Operational Excellence:
* Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
* Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
Market Expansion:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand their footprint in the UK.
* Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
* Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to attract new clients.
Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in financial services, with a focus on invoice finance. Previous leadership roles in similar capacities are highly desirable.
* A degree in finance, business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACCA) are a plus.
