Maintenance Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a national manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing machinery to ensure smooth site operations and adherence to health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain site health, safety & environmental standards, and company policies.
* Ensure own safety and the safety of those around who may be impacted.
* Attend and resolve equipment breakdowns within agreed target times.
* Carry out and record works in accordance with the maintenance plan.
* Provide engineering support to operations and minimize non-operational time.
* Maintain workshop inventory.
* Support process improvement activities affecting Overall Equipment Effectiveness (product of Quality, Performance & Availability).
Requirements:
* Mechanical experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Hydraulics and Pneumatics knowledge.
* Practical fault-finding knowledge of Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation systems.
* Mechanical systems expertise - gears, shafts, bearings, drive belts, conveyors.
* Electrical drive systems expertise - direct, geared, fixed & variable speed controllers.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Full driving licence.

Estimated Salary: £40,000 + Overtime
