SEMH Teaching Assistant

Our clients school in Croydon and surrounding areas, are seeking dedicated and passionate SEMH Teaching Assistants to join their teams in making a difference in the lives of learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with the class teacher and other professionals to meet the diverse needs of students.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEMH or SEN
Relevant qualifications or certifications in Special Education or related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
Ability to adapt to different learning environments and work collaboratively within a team.
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced child only DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
