An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fantastic team of People (HR) professionals based at Seaton Delaval in an People (HR) Advisor role. We are seeking a motivated and conscientious individual to work within our fast-paced Operational People (HR) Team.
This role is pivotal in supporting the provision of a high-quality People (HR) service that is focused on supporting staff across the organisation to achieve outcomes in line with the vision and values of the Trust.
The post will be based at Seaton Delaval, Whitley Bay; however, the post holder will be required to work at other sites within the Trust on a regular basis. Ability to meet these travel requirements is therefore essential. Blended/flexible working is supported by the Trust.

Job responsibilities
The successful candidate will have an ability to communicate, negotiate, and influence a range of managers and staff, have experience of analysing situations in order to advise on an appropriate course of action, and an ability to organise their own workload to meet service needs and competing deadlines.
Applicants for the People (HR) Advisor position must have:
* Degree in Human Resources or HR Knowledge acquired through relevant training and experience working in an HR environment to degree equivalent level.
* Experience working within an HR environment and supporting managers on a range of employee relations matters.
* A sound working knowledge of a range of policies and management procedures.
* It is an essential requirement of the role that the post holder has a valid driving licence and is either a car owner and able to use the car for work purposes, or has a Trust personal lease vehicle which may be used for the role. However, the Trust would consider making reasonable adjustments to the role, if necessary, to enable a disabled person to undertake the role.
