Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pizza Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-quality, delicious pizzas and possess the skills to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As an experienced Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for preparing pizza dough, assembling ingredients, and cooking pizzas to perfection while ensuring consistent quality and presentation. You will also oversee kitchen operations, maintain cleanliness, and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and other ingredients according to restaurant recipes and standards.
2. Assemble and cook pizzas, ensuring proper presentation and flavor consistency.
3. Manage the pizza station, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and readily available.
4. Work with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during peak hours.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and pizza station.
6. Ensure that pizzas are cooked at the correct temperature and for the appropriate amount of time.
7. Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
8. Follow food safety and hygiene practices in accordance with company policies and health regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar cooking role.
2. Knowledge of pizza-making techniques, including dough preparation and cooking methods.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
5. Familiarity with food safety regulations and kitchen safety practices.
6. Passion for food and commitment to delivering a high-quality dining experience.
7. Culinary school degree or relevant certification is a plus but not necessary.
