To be a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with a designated caseload within Chailey Heritage Foundation. As a highly specialist clinician in AAC to undertake individual communication assessments for children and young people within Chailey Heritage Foundation in liaison with the named therapist. To participate in outpatient clinics as a highly specialist clinician in AAC and as part of multi-professional team, for example SCAMP clinic (Specialist Communication Access Mobility Potential). To assess, diagnose and manage disorders of eating and drinking thatpresent in the clinical population. To be a specialist resource in the area of Eating, Drinking and Dysphagiamanagement to children and their families, Speech and Language Therapists and other professional colleagues at Chailey Heritage Clinical Services. To participate in outpatient clinics as a highly specialist clinician in Dysphagia, for example Eating and Drinking Management Clinic, as required. To attend and report at clinical reviews, case conferences and meetingsrelevant to the care of the child in the designated client group. To reflect on clinical practice, identifying own strengths and developmentneeds and providing evidence of sound clinical judgements as well asfacilitating peer supervision within the team. To contribute and participate in the development of service delivery, teamprojects and innovative practice in collaboration with the Team Lead Speech and Language Therapist and other Specialist Speech and Language Therapists. To contribute to training within area of clinical expertise both internally at Chailey Clinical and externally as required. To maintain appropriate health record keeping. To supervise other members of team as required. To attend and lead team meetings. To maintain and develop clinical knowledge by attending courses,conferences, CENs and own research.
