Senior Process Design Engineer
We are expanding our Chemical & Biological Treatment division and seeking a Senior Process Design Engineer to join our in-house design team in Edinburgh.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing process design input, formulating designs for clients, and guiding the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct initial project scoping visits and prepare project scope reports.
* Perform process calculations and unit sizing.
* Prepare P&IDs.
* Ensure project design checking, validation, and approval procedures are followed, including Client technical governance requirements.
* Develop Process Control Philosophies.
* Coordinate all project design development activities, ensuring compliance with Client specifications and current regulatory standards.
* Lead design meetings, including HAZOPs.
* Act as a Design Lead for specific projects.
Requirements:
* Strong technical knowledge of water and wastewater projects.
* Demonstrable experience in process engineering or a similar industry environment.
* Ability to work alone or supervise a team.
* Experience working at all design stages, from optioneering through to construction support.
* Knowledge of strategic planning and risk management processes.
* Possess the ability to work on multiple projects consecutively.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
