Are you an Export Coordinator looking for a new role?
Our client, who are a leading Manufacturing company within the Telford area, have urgent requirements for an Export Coordinator to join their team.
Responsibilities:
* To work as part of a team to ensure the efficient administration processing of all orders received by the sales departments including coordination and planning of despatch dates whilst maintaining customs compliance.
* To provide sales support to Business Development managers and act as a customer response point for Export Distributors.
* Export Sales Order processing including acknowledgement, despatch planning, invoicing of orders, credit control monitoring across all brands.
* Raise and log shipping documentation for all exports ensuring customs and HMRC regulations are met.
* Ensure the business stays informed of changes to export regulations and implement changes to meet requirements (Training/courses/Webinars/Chamber of Commerce updates).
* Obtain and file proof of export documentation for all export shipments.
* Support account managers (BDM’s) and distributor customers with pricing, delivery queries, product availability and lead time requests.
* Liaising with supply chain, Warehousing, logistics and manufacturing departments to coordinate.
* Maintain internal systems and raise suggestions to improve departmental efficiency.
* Liaise with freight forwarders and negotiate most competitive freight rates and customer service where applicable.
* Implement best shipping practice and use of incoterms.
* Arrange export of marketing material for Exhibition & open houses.
* Carry out corrective action on customer complaints generated through customer care.
* Book transport for UK logistics to cover holidays (full training will be given).
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
* Exceptional Customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Must have working knowledge MS Office and CRM software.
* Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
* Accuracy and high attention to detail.
* Knowledge of a foreign language is advantageous.
* Problem solving skills
* Ability to work at a fast pace and to deadlines.
* Ability to work in a high demand/a high demand challenging environment.
