Parts Administrator Annual Salary: £30,000 Location: Ipswich, Office-based (no hybrid or remote working) Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm Start Date: ASAP We are currently seeking a Parts Administrator to oversee our clients parts and inventory management and is a chance to join a team with longstanding service. This role is ideal for someone with a background in inventory administration or purchasing, who possesses strong administrative skills and is comfortable with manual, hands on tasks. Day-to-day of the role: Ensure timely and accurate availability of tools, parts, and equipment for our engineers, enhancing their ability to deliver excellent service to our customers. Manage the sourcing, ordering, and delivery of parts, materials, PPE, and tools. Responsibilities include receiving deliveries at the branch, organizing, and allocating them to specific jobs. Divide your time between administrative duties in the office and hands-on management in the store. Office tasks include sourcing items, managing invoices, processing warranties, and updating records. In the store, you will manage stock levels, maintain organisation, and ensure correct allocation of parts to jobs. Responsible for the supply and management of parts, administration of branch fleets, van inspections, and conducting some Health and Safety checks. What do you need to have? Experience in a similar role within industries such as electrical, plumbing, or building supplies. Proficient in Microsoft Office with the capability to learn new software systems quickly. Strong administrative and organisational skills. Comfortable with manual handling tasks. Must possess a valid UK driving licence as some driving and deliveries may be required. What’s in it for you?
