This full-time, permanent role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to join a values-driven team and make a meaningful contribution. The position is based at their offices in Erdington, with flexible working hours available, allowing you to choose between an 8:00 am - 4:00 pm or 9:00 am - 5:00 pm schedule, Monday to Friday.
As a Finance Assistant, you will report directly to the Assistant Accountant and play a critical role within the Transactional Team. Your contributions will help ensure the smooth operation of the group’s financial processes, with responsibilities that include:
* Accounts Payable Management: Efficiently processing transactions to maintain accuracy and timeliness.
* Financial Posting and Reconciliations: Posting income and expenditure transactions, completing bank reconciliations, and ensuring alignment across all financial records.
* Rent System Maintenance: Recording rent transactions in the financial system and addressing any discrepancies.
* Support for Month-End Activities: Assisting with accruals, commitments, and other month-end financial processes to ensure reporting accuracy.
* Documentation Management: Keeping all processes and duties thoroughly documented and updated to maintain compliance and clarity.
* Committee and Stakeholder Support: Handling queries from committee members and providing ad hoc support as required.
