The Role
Due to significant growth and future work, we’re seeking to recruit a Project Support Coordinator to join Fortem based in Sheffield. You’ll be an integral part of a wider team, where we’re responsible for enhancements to a large number of properties across Sheffield. The Project Support Coordinator will provide coordination to core workstreams and the completion of key tasks that will facilitate smooth operational running and continuous improvement.
The Project
The key duties and responsibilities of the Project Support Coordinator will include:
1. Owner coordinator of the property lists – out to the CLO’s, contractors, site managers, plus BCC and back to us with any updates/changes, including “drop-outs” and those with variations or issues to allow work to progress.
2. Managing the master list updates and managing updates on Connect. Keeping both in line to represent the true position and performance and progress.
3. Coordinate aspects of Electrical and Asbestos compliance and record management to inform the CLO’s, Site Managers and contractors, to ensure a fluid property list to programme, survey and undertake works on.
4. Ensuring the handover pack (including all certificates) have been collated and checked are in place for completion.
5. Ensuring and reporting the signed off property completion.
Essential and Desirable Criteria
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
Essential:
1. IT and data handling skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
2. Excellent organisational skills.
3. The ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including subcontractors.
Desirable:
1. Previous experience in a similar role.
2. Experience in a construction within a projects or social housing environment.
