As a result of internal advancement, we have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. So, what’s the role? As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for both internal and external customers, helping them with queries, processing new orders or generating new sales. You will form part of our small but dedicated team who deliver a world-class, professional experience for all our customers by either telephone or email. You will develop and maintain strong relationships, listening and communicating effectively with both customers, which will allow you to seek opportunities to promote Marshalls Bricks and Masonry products and services to gain additional sales. This will include taking calls, liaising with our transport and production teams and handling emails relating to orders. But that’s not all – within the role, there are exceptional opportunities for career progression. Our bricks and masonry division is a growth business where you can learn and advance quickly, not only in customer service but on the commercial side too. Confident customer service and/or sales background of at least 12 months Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst paying close attention to detail and order processing Previous experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is desirable Ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues with a positive and upbeat approach A proactive approach to problem-solving, taking full end to end ownership of customer contact and always using initiative/being create Enthusiastic team player who enjoys collaborating and working as a collective to reach objectives and targets Maths – GCSE C or above/Equivalent Key Skills English – GCSE C or above/Equivalent Key Skills Degree Basic/Intermediate MS Office including Microsoft Outlook Competent computer user Good organisation, planning and time management Attention to detail We don't just build paths; we pave the way for personal and professional growth.
