Are you an experienced Administrator looking for a new opportunity to showcase your skills? Our client, a thriving organisation, is seeking a motivated and organised individual to join their team as an Administrator. If you are a self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we want to hear from you!
As an Administrator, you will be responsible for a variety of reception and general office duties to ensure the smooth running of the organisation. Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Answering and redirecting incoming calls and welcoming visitors
2. Distributing post and organising meetings and internal events
3. Coordinating with the Director's external PA to ensure effective recording of external events and holidays
4. Providing administrative support to the executive team, including organising and coordinating meetings
5. Setting up and organising computer equipment, phones, and stationery for new starters
6. Liaising with the IT provider and HR department for any technical or equipment-related issues
7. Managing the procurement of office supplies, consumables, printed stationery, and gifts as directed
8. Negotiating, managing, and recording utility contracts, subscriptions, and other communication systems
9. Assisting in maintaining and collating information for company insurances
10. Organising repairs and sourcing/acquiring new equipment as directed
11. Providing collaborative assistance to other individuals within the organisation as directed by the Managing Board
To excel in this role, you will need:
12. Previous experience in a busy office environment
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
14. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
15. The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
16. Experience with the Microsoft Office suite
17. A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work
18. The ability to handle confidential information with discretion
