CDE Global is now seeking to appoint an Inventory Controller, to join the team. Reporting directly to the Stores Manager. The position is based in Monkstown, Northern Ireland.
About The Role
Job Purpose
Manage the function to best in class, ensuring real-time stock accuracy, adherence to ERP processes and supporting the rest of the business, including but not limited to assembly, installation, and Custom Care. The Inventory Controller will be responsible for leading the stock accuracy in stores to ensure that the department’s deliverables are produced accurately and in a timely fashion in order to appropriately support the business requirements. This will be achieved by working closely with the stores team and other departments, ensuring the stores department supports and delivers to the schedule.
Responsibilities
· Prioritise Health & Safety best practices and enforce all relevant safe-working rules and regulations.
· Support process improvements and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
· Perform cycle counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy.
· Lead cycle count and zero pick analysis and be responsible for corrective actions.
· Investigate and lead discrepancy resolution in all aspects of Inventory Management.
· Conduct root cause analysis of issues identified through CDE’s Non-Conformance process
· Regularly audit inventory transactions, including Picking, Stock Movements, Putaway, etc.
· Adhere to material handling policies while optimising footprint utilisation and stock flows.
· Liaise with other supply chain functions to mitigate the impact of actual or potential delays.
· Manage any issues or delays, ensuring potential interruptions are identified and communicated as soon as possible utilising the CDE NCR system if necessary.
· Apply quality and environmental standards required under ISO 9001 and 14001 and the company Quality and Environmental standards
· Work across all CDE and supplier sites as required

Desired Criteria
* Further qualification in the warehousing discipline
Required Criteria
* GCSE (or equivalent) Math & English
* Forklift License
* Highly attentive to detail
