We are looking for an Associate Lecturer in Digital to join our team and inspire the next generation of digital professionals. The Role: As an Associate Lecturer in Digital, you will deliver high-quality teaching across our Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity modules. You'll engage and inspire students with cutting-edge knowledge and real world application of emerging technologies and cybersecurity practices. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, interactive lectures, workshops, and seminars. Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to support their development. Ensure curriculum delivery aligns with industry trends and UA92's values. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative learning environment. Skills and Knowledge: To succeed in this role, you'll bring a combination of technical expertise, industry experience, and a passion for teaching. Key areas include: Strong understanding of threat intelligence and security controls. Knowledge of concepts such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network monitoring tools. Proficiency in secure software development, particularly in Python and web security frameworks (e.g., OWASP). Solid understanding of networking principles, including the OSI model and IP addressing. Experience in database security, with knowledge of SQL injection prevention and secure database design. Familiarity with ethical hacking practices, including penetration testing methodologies and tools. Technologies: You'll have practical experience with tools and platforms such as: Wireshark, Kali Linux, VirtualBox, and Burp Suite. Xampp, Visual Studio Code, and Packet Tracer. Cloud security platforms, such as AWS. What We're Looking For: Relevant academic qualifications or industry experience in digital or cybersecurity. Previous teaching or training experience is desirable but not essential. A commitment to fostering an inclusive and inspiring learning environment.
