Civil Site Manager

Rate: £500 per day (CIS)/ Permanent opportunity available

Turner Lovell is recruiting for an international renewable energy organisation, who deliver multiple renewable energy projects throughout the UK. We are recruiting for a Civil Site Manager, with proven experience working construction phases.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, drive safety standards, provide leadership to internal resources and demonstrate excellent communication skills to all key stakeholders. The Civil Site Manager will be responsible for working on projects from inception through to completion.
Responsibilities:
* To manage site personnel, subcontractors, and general works on site
* Carry out site inductions, Tool Box Talks & Daily Briefings.
* Produce & maintain Site Specific Risk & Method Statements.
* Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
* Ensure quality control measures are implemented throughout the project
* Maintain a high standard of documentation and records of project activities/labour including a site diary
Essential Requirements:
* Must have SMSTS, and CSCS, (TP137, SR163 and NSI 6 & 8 desirable)
* Proven track record of UK site management preferably within substation environments.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
* Previously or current authorisation to National Grid TP 137.11
* Knowledge of current legislation relating to Health, Safety and Environment
* Cost / Value reporting exposure
* Skill in organising resources and establishing priorities
* Ability to work within budget and to programme timescales
