Reporting into the Senior Brand Manager, this is a new position, as we ramp up plans to significantly grow our retail business in a competitive B2C broadband market, providing a fantastic opportunity for the right person to develop content to support the Trooli brand across all go-to-market channels...doing all this in their own way!
The ideal candidate will be a very creative individual with excellent graphic design & video creation capabilities, with a strategic mindset and having a commercial and results-driven outlook. We’re looking for someone to bring big ideas and a big personality to the table, all with a proven ability to work remotely as part of a small team.

The Day Job
1. Provide support for all graphic design requirements for Trooli, supporting the business, guided by Marketing leadership.
2. Take the lead on all video creation and animation requirements for Trooli, working closely with the wider Marketing team to plan and develop assets.
3. Work alongside the Senior Brand Manager to manage the production schedule for all design work, prioritising and communicating with stakeholders across the business.
4. Define, build and maintain a high-quality content pipeline to meet the needs of sales and marketing across all channels in line with the business’s go to market strategy. This includes, but is not limited to social media, display advertising, website content, email marketing and sales support tools.
5. Work alongside our PR agency to manage the blog/news content on our website.
6. Gather and use consumer/market insights to analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of messaging to make improvements.
7. Work closely with key internal stakeholders, Marketing colleagues and senior managers, supporting each other and understanding needs/requirements, including support for product releases, marketing campaigns or other brand messages.
8. Build a deep understanding of Trooli’s business strategy, creating key insights, and using the lessons to generate clear actions to drive growth.
9. Liaise with and manage third party agencies, as required (e.g. print and distribution).
The Ideal Candidate Is Someone Who
1. A professional level of experience with graphic design tools, such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, with the ability to create visual marketing assets to the standard of an outstanding design agency.
2. A professional level of experience with video creation software, with the ability to create assets to the standard of an outstanding design agency.
3. Are highly organised and have experience using project management software, such as Wrike, Asana or Monday.com.
4. A self-starter who is passionate about branding and design, with a pride for the work they produce.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong copywriting skills.
6. Strong stakeholder and customer management skills, a commercial mindset, and an ability to work cross-functionally.
7. Ability to drive a strategic approach, whilst being able to roll up your sleeves and be hands on.
8. A passion for using data and insight to understand Trooli’s target audience and create marketing assets that drive awareness, interest and action.
Even Better If You Have
1. Experience working in a fast-moving B2C business at a rapid stage of growth, working as part of an evolving marketing team.
2. Deep understanding of consumer buying behaviour, which can be applied to design.
3. Experience working in the broadband or utilities industry.
4. A start-up mentality – a relationship builder, flexible, dedicated, and hardworking.
