About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our client's team on the night shift. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our electrical systems and machinery during night-time operations. Your focus will be on reducing downtime, conducting fault-finding, and carrying out essential repairs and preventative maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance and Repairs: Carry out routine maintenance on electrical equipment, control systems, and machinery. Diagnose and rectify electrical faults promptly to minimise operational disruptions.
Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment efficiency and reliability. Identify and address potential issues before they escalate into major problems.
Troubleshooting and Fault-Finding: Conduct thorough fault diagnosis on PLCs, motors, drives, and other electrical components.
Use specialist diagnostic tools to test and repair equipment.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in line with health and safety regulations. Maintain a safe and organised working environment at all times.
