The Charity is there to support the UK fire family at different times during their lives, supporting not only the workforce but also retired personnel and their dependants.Working alongside your colleagues you will provide short-term wellbeing support to members of the Fire and Rescue Service Community through face-to-face interventions (individual and group format), telephone and web-based interactions.We promote a healthy work life balance for all employees, and in addition to a competitive salary and benefits package, you have access to a health care cash plan, Employee Assistance Programme, and other wellbeing support tools.About youTo be successful you will:have with experience of working in a mental health / wellbeing support / social prescribing environment (e.g. IAPT Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner) with a knowledge of mind/body connection.hold a qualification in Health and Social Care, Counselling, Health Coaching or equivalent at level 3 or above. hold a professional registration with live membership where applicable.have excellent administrative, organisational, problem solving and planning skills.have confidence in delivering wellbeing support face to face and virtually.be able to effectively communicate with a wide range of people.About the roleYou can review the attached job description, and what our Wellbeing Practitioner at our Devon based centre has to say about this role.
