The Head of People Partnering will sit as part of the senior leadership team within HR and lead the effective delivery of a forward-thinking and proactive HR partnering team to a range of stakeholders across Robertson Group. Leading on the execution of People strategies by translating into meaningful and actionable regional people plans, ensuring business goals and metrics are met, and driving a high-performance culture through coaching and stakeholder engagement with business leaders. &8239; What you’ll do: &8239; Lead, coach and develop the team ( providing regional, operational support for employee relations, recruitment and training compliance) to provide comprehensive and exemplary support and advice for a range of different stakeholders. Providing clear leadership to ensure individual and team objectives can be met. Assessing individual development requirements and activating development plans. Utilising coaching techniques. P rovide advice, guidance and direction and act as a point of escalation where required. Work closely and collaboratively with People & Culture team to support and influence people activities across the employee lifecycle e.g. strategic resource planning, performance development cycle, salary review, promotions process, talent management, succession planning. Alongside the Head of People & Culture, ensure collaboration and continued strong working relationships between People Partnering and People and Culture teams. Working together to resolve any issues quickly. I nfluence and execute the People Strategy ensuring organisational and regional objectives can be achieved through robust, commercial and successful people plans. Work with senior leadership team s to design and deliver regional p eople p lans in line with Group Strategic Objectives D evelop strong business relationships and to be recognised as a trusted advisor to stakeholders Establish strong knowledge and understanding of the regional businesses and stakeholders, proactively identify ing internal / external influences, risks and opportunities and anticipat ing needs. Lead People Partners and Recruitment Advisors to manage the talent succession pipeline, both with consideration of internal development and strategic external recruitment Collaborate with the Head of People & Culture to ensure both teams are always working towards shared objectives. Responsible for designing and implementing change and transformation programmes across the business: this m ight include organisational restructures and TUPE. Analysing and interpreting trends in management information and data to design appropriate interventions and initiatives. Utilising data to identify trends and inform decisions. A ct as a point of escalation for complex employee relations cases, including supporting with preparation of any employment tribunal claims. Act as a key contributor within the HR senior leadership team, bringing expertise to key projects and providing input on strategy and operational plans. Acting as a recognised expert in employment law, staying up to date on UK case law and best practice to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance. Ensure that business and people leaders have the tools and support to appropriately manage people and achieve operational effectiveness. &8239; &8239; What you’ll need: Degree qualified in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (ideally MCIPD level 7 or above) Extensive knowledge and experience of all areas of employment law/people management/HR Experience of working in a similar role within a similar sized organisation would be an advantage Ability to lead, develop and coach a diverse team (this role will be leading a team of 16) Commercially astute Solutions-driven Excellent influencing and negotiation skills Highly developed decision-making ability Ability to produce, interpret and analyse data to inform decision making Problem solving skills and attention to detail Ability to analyse complex situations and provide workable solutions to a variety of stakeholders Internal relationship management skills with the credibility to develop partnerships at senior management level Ability to work with a strategic focus Resourceful, decisive, autonomous and accountable An individual who embraces change and manages change in a positive way Advanced analytical and problem - solving skills Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities Ability to work well under pressure, deal with difficult situations including people Flexible approach to working hours where business demands require Valid UK driving licence and ability to travel within UK ( occasional travel) About you: &8239; You'll have worked in a similar role previously at this level, being able to demonstrate good technical experience and you'll have strong working knowledge and application of UK employment law and of handling complex employee relations casework. The Head of People Partnering will lead as a conduit into the People and Culture team, ensuring the correct expertise is engaged and will foster meaningful relationships that create opportunities to promote HR and the services provided both internally and externally. To support this, it's essential that you've worked in a similar HR structure maintaining strong working relationships between the different HR teams and working together to resolve any issues quickly.
