Thermon is a leading global provider of industrial process heating solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in our UK office. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing full-cycle project completion for our clients. This role involves close communication with internal and external stakeholders, as well as performing all necessary Project Management tasks to ensure successful project delivery. This role is initially for 12 months to cover for long term leave, but depending on future projects the contract could be extended indefinitely. Your main duties and responsibilities include: Accountable for full-cycle project management, including adherence to project specifications and contractual obligations. Collaborate with internal and external clients to define project scope, set client expectations, budget, deliverables, schedule, and goals. Identify project team, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to the project execution plan for on-time completion. Create long and short-term plans, set milestones, adhere to deadlines, and allocate resources. Identify, manage, and control changes in the project and make effective decisions for project progression. Maintain budget and schedule, providing regular status updates to key stakeholders. Responsible for revenue recognition, project invoicing, and closeout. Maintain Project Controls documentation. Perform quality control on project deliverables throughout development to maintain expected standards. Essential visits to key stakeholders, including potential international travel. Negotiate face-to-face with clients. What will make you successful? Quickly and effectively handle "business situations" to achieve positive outcomes for both the Client and Thermon, with a focus on improving project financial performance. Take ownership of the quality process for project deliverables. Understand the project scope thoroughly and focus on providing additional value to customers. Demonstrate a solid understanding of project financial dimensions and their relation to overall company financial outcomes. Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers, building trust and respect. Develop strong relationships across the organization, effectively working in a matrix environment. Good communication and being capable of handling conflicts and disputes, finding common ground, and driving cooperation. Qualifications 5 to 8 years of project management experience, preferably in manufacturing or EPC. Experience with Electrical Heat Tracing Systems is an advantage. Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle. Efficient communication in English
