The Technical Team is responsible for creating all technical drawings for our client’s kitchen projects.
Firstly, drawing paperwork that will help the client visualise their Tom Howley kitchen layout and play an integral part in the wider project, providing critical information to the client’s tradespeople to ensure the final site is fit for installation. Then the final technical drawings for our client’s kitchen project; this paperwork will be crucial to the manufacturing and fitting of the furniture. Millimetre perfection and an excellent understanding of technical design will be essential to ensure the project’s outcomes are to the exacting standards here at Tom Howley. There will be many opportunities to develop within the role whilst benefiting from our advanced systems and training for the right candidate.
The Role:
* This team is responsible for using Cabinet Vision to create detailed technical drawings for the factory to use to manufacture the furniture
* Produce detailed technical plans and elevations for the fitting teams to install the furniture
* Creating and issuing purchasing documents
* Create bespoke cabinets within the Cabinet Vision product library as per the client’s request
* Supporting the sales team with their designs
* Working with other teams within the drawing office
The Successful Applicant will:
* Have experience in 3D CAD software, examples of previous technical drawings are required
* Be IT literate to a good standard
* Have an eye for detail and a passion for design
* Be able to cope with a fast pace of work and hitting deadlines
* Be able to problem solve and use initiative
* Be able to communicate with other departments within the business confidently
* Previous knowledge of furniture/fitting/joinery is advantageous
