We are seeking an individual who wants to achieve their potential. Someone who has at least 3 years’ experience in administering defined benefit pension schemes, both doing the work and checking colleagues' work as well.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring work undertaken by the administration and consultancy teams is done in accordance with procedures and processes.
2. Preparing and checking member calculations and communications to ensure that they are clear and accurate.
3. Working with scheme consultants to develop and implement each scheme’s annual business plan which includes:
1. Preparing governance reports and documentation and ensuring all governance matters are dealt with in good time.
2. Preparing agendas and meeting packs for trustee meetings.
3. Project management and technical support on key administration projects e.g. data cleansing exercises, GMP equalisation, onboarding of data for new admin clients.
4. Running payroll every month.
4. You will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of defined benefit pensions.
