The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for the receiving and processing of incoming raw materials and finished goods, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and maintaining organized inventory in the warehouse.
More about your responsibilities:
* Order materials as needed to have 24-hour production on all presses.
* Load trucks with all outgoing material and finished goods and ensure the shipping transactions are accurately updated in SAP. Prepare shipping documents or transfers as required.
* Enter material from Finishing department into the warehouse, either stored for inventory or staged for release to customers or transfer to the Distribution Centre.
* Unload, receive and store goods and materials as required, ensuring the receiving transactions are accurately updated in SAP. This includes chemicals for storage.
* Accurately complete and report to accounting the raw material cycle counts daily.
* Monitor board, corrugate and finished goods inventory and advise Leader of any slow moving or unusual quantities on hand.
* Load scrap skids for recycling.
* Ensure all courier pick-ups are processed as required and available for pick-up at the designated time.
* Operate guillotine to cut board stock or corrugate as required by Production.
What you’ll bring:

* Minimum High School Diploma.
* 1+ year of forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Considered an asset:
o Experience within the printing/packaging industry.
o Expertise in SAP, order management, and shipping systems (e.g., Purolator/UPS).
