Job description Benefits: · Competitive salary ( up to £26,000) plus sales commission · Opportunity to work at an award-winning wedding venue · A permanent contract based on 40 hours per week · Share in and contribute to one of the most important days in a couple’s life – every day Within the Day to Day Office: · To answer the telephone and deal with all enquiries in an efficient and professional manner. · To answer emails in an efficient and professional manner. · To assist with meeting, greeting and assisting with existing couples & their questions. · To assist with other general office administration including but not limited to: circulating firework letters, DJ/maintenance and kitchen function lists. · To assist with accommodation enquiries and update the high level system as required. · To assist with obtaining payments from couples on time as required. To assist with sending payment confirmation emails. · To assist with processing daily venue transactions received from accounts. · To assist with the stock count and ordering of candy cart supplies as required. · Any other duties as required by the Venue Manager. Sales: · To assist the Sales Manager with new enquiries, 48 hour follow ups and 10 day chasers as required. · To assist the Sales Manager with managing opportunities as required. · To prepare viewing/open day packs in preparation for each event. · To assist the Sales Manager with booking in viewing appointments/open day appointments, confirming them and conducting them as required including evening and weekend appointments. · To assist the Sales Manager with virtual tours as required. · To assist the Sales Manager with post booking administration as required. · To assist with the development and execution of upselling strategies post booking. · To assist with the stock take of existing venue styling products. To liaise with other venue team members to make suitable recommendations for extending this stock and developing sales. · To work with the Sales Manager and identify sales opportunities with late availability accommodation promotions. · To work with the Sales Manager and identify sales opportunities with bar promotions. To work with the Bar Manager to implement promotions. Non-Wedding Events: · To assist with the development and implementation of non-wedding events. To identify available dates, create event proposals and monitor & actively pursue ticket sales. · To be available to assist with the execution of non-wedding events as required. Weddings: · To assist with and cover Planning Meetings as required. · To assist with wedding paperwork/invoicing as required. · To assist Personal Wedding Managers obtain final numbers and requirements from couples on or before due dates. Marketing: · To assist the venue with collecting suitable content for all social media platforms including: Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. · To assist the venue with collecting high resolution images to boost marketing stock.
