A client primary school in Blackpool, Lancashire (FY4) is recruiting on behalf of a two-form entry, busy primary school. Due to staffing restructures and an increase in demand, this ‘GOOD’ primary school wishes to appoint a Behaviour Mentor to work with identified pupils starting in January 2025.
The successful candidate will have experience working with young people who display behaviour challenges. The Behaviour Mentor will deliver short intervention sessions to improve behaviour whilst implementing the school's behaviour policy and monitoring progress. While working closely with the school's SEN Co-ordinator and Inclusion Manager, the Behaviour Mentor will adapt learning continually to ensure consistent progress is made.
- Full-time behaviour support opportunity.
- Prior experience working with children/young people with behaviour challenges is desirable.
- Competitive rates of pay between £12.90 - £13.50 per day.
- Support students inside the classroom and in the Learning Resource Centre.
- Blackpool Primary School is easy to access by public transport and car.
