We at Almari Designs Ltd, are looking to fill as a result of a growing demand for our services the increase in demand in our work for kitchens and bedrooms wood work. We as a company are expanding ever so much and would like to hire a carpenter and joiner to meet and deliver our huge customer needs. We have been in the business for more than 7 years in Leicester. As a carpenter and joiner you will be responsible for one of the most important elements of carpentry and joinery within the housing industry. Duties include joinery structure and, measuring out areas, and repairing or maintaining existing wooden structures and work. Responsibilities and role
1. Interpreting plans, sketches, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
2. Measuring and cutting wood, drywall, or other materials to exact specifications using hand tools or power tools.
3. Constructing building frameworks, such as walls, wooden floors joining, and fire doors and doors for residential, commercial or industrial buildings.
4. Joining and installing windows, doors, cabinets, and shelves.
5. Repairing damaged structures, ceilings, floors, and other joiner duties in the buildings.
6. Operating and using a wide range of hand tools (saws) and power tools
7. Inspecting work to ensure that it is level, stable, and structurally sound.
8. Applying Finishing Touches, applying coatings and finishing edges to make projects aesthetically appealing.
9. Following safety guidelines and wearing protective gear to prevent accidents on job sites.
10. Coordination with electricians, plumbers, and other construction workers to complete projects.
11. Wearing PPE, safety shoes during working on building and sites.
SALARY AND BENEFITS :
Range: £32000 to £36000 per year, depending on experience. Working 37.5 hours a week.
Working: Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM to 5:00 PM
