We have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Private Client Team in Northampton. This friendly team are looking for a Paralegal to join them and provide support with a variety of tasks and duties. Howes Percival’s Private Client team specialise in providing advice on preparing wills, managing estates and preserving wealth. This is a great opportunity to develop your legal skills and knowledge within a growing, experienced and mutually supportive team. You will be exposed to a broad range of matters and will be working on files, undertaking research, attending client meetings and drafting basic documents. S ome of your duties will include: Drafting documents and letters of advice to clients under supervision Drafting and completing basic legal documents and forms Researching legal issues on behalf of other fee earners Preparing document bundles for fee earners as required Taking responsibility for administrative tasks, i.e. coordinating the administration of seminars Taking messages about initial advice queries and passing them on to the relevant fee earner The efficient management of client/matter files to include general filing, file opening, preparation of client care letters and terms and conditions, file closure and archiving Undertaking any other duties as required.
