The Role:
As our Spa Guest Services Agent at The Caledonian Edinburgh, you will be responsible for ensuring that exceptional guest service is consistently delivered to our spa guests, upholding the highest standards of hospitality. Your role is central to creating a memorable and personalised experience, managing inquiries, reservations, and service delivery efficiently. You will support the Spa Reception Team to maintain smooth daily operations, helping the management team to drive positive results and operational success.
Your involvement will extend to implementing and monitoring processes and procedures that improve the effectiveness, development, and profitability of the spa. You will oversee Spa Reception operations, ensuring that the team works cohesively and performs at a high level. You will also serve as a key point of contact for regular and VIP guests, ensuring that each guest experience exceeds expectations. Additionally, you will maintain the team’s learning and development through consistent training, managing the performance of the Guest Service Agents and ensuring effective communication with both the team and management.
You will play a key role in driving results for internal and external service scores, while maintaining high standards of guest service, product knowledge, and operational efficiency. In your role, you will also support the Spa Manager and represent them in their absence, ensuring the spa’s operations run seamlessly.
What We Desire:
* We are looking for a dedicated, professional, and customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment.
* The ideal candidate will possess the ability to remain composed under pressure and effectively handle guest inquiries with patience, tact, and diplomacy.
* You will bring prior experience from a luxury spa, wellness, or hospitality environment. Strong administrative and promotional skills are also key to driving spa revenue, alongside previous experience in team leadership and people management.
* Familiarity with spa booking systems, consultation processes, and retail sales will be important, as well as an understanding of health and safety regulations within a spa environment.
* Ideally, you will have experience managing departmental budgets and cost control, and knowledge of industry benchmarking standards such as Forbes ratings will be highly desirable.
