About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and providing tailored support to students. You will be working with children of all abilities, helping them reach their full potential and providing them with the tools they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons, ensuring that all students are supported.
2. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, particularly those with additional learning needs.
3. Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and motivated to learn.
4. Support students with their social, emotional, and academic development.
5. Assist with classroom management and ensure that students follow the school's behavior policies.
6. Observe and record students' progress and provide feedback to the teacher as needed.
7. Help with preparing teaching materials and classroom resources.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
1. A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (ideal but not essential).
2. Experience working with children in a primary school setting (ideal but not essential).
3. A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
4. A positive, proactive attitude with excellent communication skills.
5. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. A patient and caring approach, with the ability to support children in both academic and personal development.
7. A commitment to creating an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
