GTC, who are part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for a Control Engineer who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.
As the Control Engineer your key responsibilities are:
1. Confirm all documentation required for operational work is completed, recorded and submitted correctly and on time.
2. Manage all electrical connections work requiring Operational Control of GTC’s networks.
3. Health & safety incident investigation and reporting where required.
4. Instruction of contractors and direct staff with the installing, operating and/or repairing of the Electricity network and associated equipment.
5. Undertake Standby Duties (this will include weekends and evenings on a rota).
About you:
1. City and Guilds Level 2 qualification in associated engineering subject or equivalent.
2. Experience of electrical distribution networks.
3. Knowledge of health and safety legislations.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines.
6. Ability to work both collaboratively and as part of a team.
7. Ability to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel).
