A great opportunity to join the Dermatology team in a substantive Consultant post within the Northern Care Alliance at Salford Royal Hospital.
The successful candidate will be a productive and cohesive member of the Dermatology team.
Responsibilities include:
1. Continuing responsibility for the care of patients, including all administrative duties associated with patient care.
2. Contributing to undergraduate, post-graduate, and continuing medical education activities, including teaching as necessary.
3. Participation in clinical audit and research.
4. Conducting appropriate duties in cases of emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.
5. Engaging in multidisciplinary teamwork, including Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) discussions with other colleagues.
6. Development of special interests that align with Directorate needs and the strategic direction of the Trust.
7. Undertaking ward rounds as appropriate.
8. Providing evidence-based care for patients in a multidisciplinary setting.
9. Providing general dermatology, cancer, and pediatric clinics and surgical procedures at Salford Royal Hospital.
10. Managing the existing workload, which may change during this appointment and will be reflected within the job plan as necessary.
11. All Consultants affiliated with the center have admitting rights for elective and non-elective cases where patients remain under their care during the admission.
