Megabit is Aonic’s new publishing arm that was created to support its 1st and 3rd party studio partners. Key titles under Megabit currently in development include OtherSide Entertainment’s Thick As Thieves, the surreal fever dream OMUT from Madame Cyclone, Grit and Valor 1949 from Milky Tea, and the cozy open world adventure Lou’s Lagoon from Tiny Roar.
The Role
Assisting the Release Manager, your role will be to lead the effort to ensure smooth and successful submission of all our games to 1st Party Certification, including performing QA testing (especially CQA), validating store content, collating submission materials and supporting age rating submissions.
Working closely with our Production and Marketing teams, as part of the Operations department, you will be an organised professional with strong attention to detail and experience of 1st Party requirements (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch etc.). You will also have a solid understanding of the submission and release process on each storefront (including Steam and Epic Store) and be able to balance a varied workload across multiple projects.
The ideal candidate will be able to effectively coordinate with external QA teams to help ensure the overall quality of our titles, as well as their readiness for release across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
* Executing game quality testing, including Functional and Compliance, across PC and console platforms.
* Coordinating with internal, external and 3rd party quality teams to ensure sufficient coverage and standards.
* Gathering and producing supplementary documentation for delivery alongside 1st party submissions.
* Collating, validating and uploading store assets/copy.
* Assisting with product setup, milestone sign-off and submission/release processes.
Key Skills & Experience
* 1-3 Years in Senior/Lead Tester roles within Functional and Compliance games QA.
* Strong experience of the certification and submissions process across all platforms.
* Experience of running quality programs within games (ideally at a publisher).
* Experience with managing 3rd party suppliers and outsourced teams.
* An understanding of game store requirements and setup systems.
* High attention to detail.
* Ability to work across multiple projects at once.
