We are recruiting for a Contracts Officer to join the Capital Investment Team within the Housing and Community Safety Directorate. As a Contracts Officer you will be required to manage projects and planned programmes up to a value of circa £2m. This involves: Acting as Contract Administrator ensuring contracts are delivered in line with specific terms and conditions. Working with our Clerk of Works to ensure all works are delivered to high quality standards. Developing specifications and tender documents to procure contracts. Managing allocated budgets to ensure contract values are not exceeded. We are looking for people who are experienced in their field; have a good understanding of building construction and relevant legislation and are comfortable working on their own initiative.
