Job Summary:
The job holder is responsible for developing and implementing Fisher Productions business partnership strategy, growing our London venue business through effective venue relationship management and building partnerships with other suppliers such as caterers and florists.
Main Responsibilities:
* Work with CCO and Client Service Manager (CSM) to develop and implement a strategy for developing business partnerships.
* Build our Venue business by establishing us as each Venue’s ‘preferred supplier’ resulting in an increased number of enquiries by:
* Maintaining strong ongoing rapport with existing venues where Fisher are accredited suppliers including responsibility for the full management of formal accreditation and tender processes.
* Research and develop relationships with new venues to secure Fisher as a new accredited supplier.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with third party suppliers to generate referrals and business growth.
* Communicate and reinforce the group’s offer, brand and diverse capability.
* Contribute/post regular social media presence to support and reinforce strategic partnerships alongside the Marketing strategy.
* Conduct regular and timely face to face and telephone communications with venues and partners to build relationships and promote our products and services.
* Attend regular on-site visits and networking events to build and cement relationships.
* Ensure Client Service/Project Managers are kept abreast of working protocols/requirements of each venue to ensure delivery always meets and exceeds venue standards.
* Work proactively with the Client Service/Project Managers to ensure work is carried out to the venue’s satisfaction and that all communications are appropriate and timely.
* Maintain formal accreditations with existing Venues, including taking accountability for the full management of the tender process.
* Identify and secure new venues as appropriate, based on potential revenues.
* Stay abreast of main competitors in the venues and develop strategies for increasing our market share.
* Establish feedback mechanisms to better understand Venue perceptions and satisfaction levels.
* Input to our brand development, feeding back perceptions from venues and partners.
* Use software effectively as a business development tool, keeping it updated with communications and other Venue information.
* Work with CCO CSM to organise venue promotional events, tracking their impact through Venue revenue generation. Ensure new marketing opportunities are thoroughly researched and tested for their potential to help grow our venue business.
Job Holder Requirements:
Experience
* Venue and/or Supplier Relationship management experience.
* Experience working within UVLs and other accredited London venues essential.
* Sales and/or Marketing experience preferred.
* Outstanding client handling and business development skills.
* Solid understanding of live event production processes.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strategic thinker, able to drive new strategy and direction.
* Excellent commercial acumen, recognising opportunities to grow the business.
* Highly motivated, enthusiastic, team player.
* Proactive relationship builder, comfortable liaising at all levels.
* Good understanding of marketing and branding principles with strong social media skills.
* Computer literate with the ability to learn and assimilate new software.
Additional requirements
* The job holder must pass the stringent security vetting procedures required for accredited venues.
* The job holder will be expected to work flexibly according to the event schedule and networking events, recognising that significant evening and weekend work will be required.
* Circa. £45,000 dependant on experience (with additional discretionary bonus structure).
