As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Business Development & Account Executive to join our growing team. This role is perfect for a motivated and strategic professional who excels at identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth. Reporting to the Head of Sales and Account Management, you will play a key role in both acquiring new clients and ensuring strong, long-term relationships with existing ones.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively identify, target, and develop new business opportunities
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients through regular client visits, entertaining, and site visits
* Provide consultative guidance on venue sourcing, event management, and team-building solutions to new and existing clients
* Manage and grow a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
* Lead client pitches and presentations, ensuring alignment with client needs and company offerings
* Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve revenue targets
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional client experience
* Support the Head of Sales and Account Management in executing the company’s sales strategy
* Assist in the preparation of RFPs/Tender opportunities and proposals for large corporate accounts
* Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts, expanding the scope of services provided
* Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities
* Maintain accurate sales records and reports using CRM systems to track progress and performance
* Provide MI data and reporting to new and existing clients
* Support the Head of Sales and Account Management with preparing and hosting client review meetings
What Bien Venue Are Looking For:
* Proven experience in proactive sales and account management, preferably within the MICE industry
* Strong business development skills with a results-driven mindset
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and manage key accounts
* Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
* Experience using CRM systems and data-driven sales strategies
* Right to work in the UK
